A passion for hauling garbage

A little passion goes a long way in a customer listening program. Last week, inspired by high school teachers, I wrote in my blog about the influence of passion. 

Now, meet Angelo Bruno. It’s one thing to develop a passion for teaching children or developing customer strategies, but this guy finds passion in hauling garbage! Listen to his story (about 3 minutes).

How often do we (myself included) get mired in the details of our work and forget to see that it is worthy of being passionate? As customer advocates, if we could show a fraction of the passion displayed by Angelo Bruno, I believe it would go a long way toward building customer loyalty and generating greater success in our businesses.
